Victory for Jānis Reišulis in Spain, Podium Finish for Kārlis

The Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 Team concluded its pre-season in strong fashion at the Spanish Championship round in Calatayud. The Latvian brothers Jānis and Kārlis Reišulis once again demonstrated excellent form ahead of the opening round of the World Championship in Argentina.

Jānis Reišulis was by far the strongest rider of the day. With a dominant 1–1 result in the motos, he secured the overall victory. The Latvian delivered two controlled and impressive races. From the opening lap, he showed strong pace and managed his lead with confidence and precision. A powerful performance heading into the World Championship.

Kārlis Reišulis also enjoyed a solid race day. With 2–3 finishes in the motos, he displayed great consistency and speed, earning a well-deserved third place overall. His steady performances underline the progress he has made over the winter.

With the final preparation races now completed, the team’s focus shifts fully to the upcoming weekend. The opening round of the World Championship in Argentina is next on the schedule, where both riders aim to carry their strong form onto the sport’s biggest stage.
