Karlis Reisulis wins Dutch Masters 250 in Heerde

Karlis Reisulis won the first round of the Dutch Masters of Motocross 250 in Heerde on Easter Monday. Karlis took victory in the opening moto and secured the overall win with a third-place finish in the second moto. After a crash at the start of the first moto, Janis Reisulis fought his way back to seventh place. In the second moto, he dominated the race and took the win.

Due to the large turnout, riders were divided into two groups for practice in the morning. The Reisulis brothers quickly found their rhythm and set the fastest lap times in their respective groups.

The first moto started with a setback for Janis, as he was involved in a crash at the start and had to come through the field from the back. He did this well, fighting his way up to seventh place. Karlis took the lead early in the race and began building a gap, which he maintained for the remainder of the moto to take the win.

In the second moto, it was Janis who dominated the field. He rode a controlled race and secured the moto victory. Karlis also delivered a strong performance, and his third-place finish was enough to claim the overall win.

With a 1-3 result in the motos, Karlis won the overall classification in Heerde. Janis finished fourth overall with a 7-1 score. Next weekend, Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing MX2 will compete in a round of the MX2 World Championship in Riola Sardo, Sardinia.
