Motocross Lacapelle Marival, France - International MX on February 20th and 21st |
|
Home of international motocross events since a while, Lacapelle Marival will organize another edition at the beginning of the year before the start of the World Championships. One week before the first GP in Spain, Lacapelle will organize its motocross event on February 20th and 21st.

Back to usual for the Lacapelle Marival team, which, after organizing the MXGP of France last May, is returning to his normal date in February. With the first Grand Prix taking place in Andalusia on February 27-28, Lacapelle has opted to organize the preceding weekend, as many teams travel through France to reach Spain.
As always when it organizes an early season event, Lacapelle intends to welcome some GP stars, ready to write their name on the club's records as Jeffrey Herlings (2018/2020/2023), Kay De Wolf (2022), Maxime Renaux (2022, 2025), Tom Vialle (2020), Romain Febvre (2019) or Mathis Valin (2025) have done in recent years.
For Vincent Ayroles, president of the club, organizing a high-level event was essential again this year. “For over 10 years now, we’ve chosen to organize an early-season event, when everyone is preparing for the start of the World Championship. Next year, it will be held in Spain, not Argentina, so we decided to organize this first GP the week before,” explains Vincent, who, along with his team, will be making some modifications to the track. “We’re going to change the start, firstly by moving the grid back a few meters and secondly by modifying the first corner to avoid any risk of collisions. We also plan to do some changes at the lower section of the track, taking into account the riders’ feedback.”
See you in just over four months in Lacapelle Marival for one of the first high-level competitions in France.
