FACTORY BACKED STARK FUTURE TEAM CONFIRMS FORMER ARENACROSS CHAMPION JACK BRUNELL FOR 2027 |
|
Brunell returns to Arenacross with FUS Marsh Stark Future Racing, joined by reigning Pro-Am British Champion Louis Brookes as he steps up to the Pro class.

FUS Marsh Stark Future Racing will line up for the 2027 Arenacross British Championship with Jack Brunell and Louis Brookes, bringing together two British champions at very different stages of their Arenacross careers.
The official Stark Future race team will be managed by Michael Keenan, with the support of Marsh, as it prepares to contest the six-round championship across Birmingham, Belfast and Aberdeen.
For Brunell, the announcement marks a return to familiar surroundings. Having previously raced with FUS Marsh, the experienced British rider went on to make history in 2024, becoming the first rider to win the Arenacross British Championship aboard an all-electric Stark VARG.
His championship-winning campaign included a landmark victory in Manchester and culminated in him securing the Pro title at Wembley, establishing both Brunell and Stark Future in Arenacross history.
Now, he'll return to the championship as part of the FUS Marsh Stark Future Racing team, reunited with people who have been part of his racing career for years.
Alongside him, Louis Brookes will take the next step in his Arenacross career after winning the 2026 Pro-Am British Championship.
Brookes' move into the Pro class is a significant milestone for the young rider and a reflection of the progression opportunities within Arenacross, where riders can develop through the championship's supporting classes before taking on the established Pro field.

FUS MARSH AND STARK FUTURE JOIN FORCES
The team's involvement also brings another chapter to the long-standing history of Marsh in British motocross.
With roots firmly established in the UK racing scene, Marsh has supported riders and teams across British motocross for years, building a reputation within the paddock through its commitment to the sport.
Now, alongside Stark Future's official backing, FUS Marsh Stark Future Racing will bring that experience into the Arenacross championship with a proven title winner and one of the sport's emerging talents.
Michael Keenan, Team Manager, said:
"Getting Jack back with us is a big one. We've got a lot of history together, and everyone knows what he's capable of at Arenacross. He's already proved he can win a championship on the Stark, and we're looking forward to getting him back on the gate with us.
Louis is another rider I'm really excited about. He's earned his place in the Pro class after winning the Pro-Am championship, and I think he's got a lot of potential. It's going to be a big step up, but he's got the right attitude, and having Jack alongside him will be a huge benefit.
With the official backing of Stark Future and the experience we've got through FUS Marsh, I think we've put together a really strong team. We're going there to race, and I can't wait to see what the boys can do."
Anthony Marsh, Marsh, said:
"Marsh has been involved in racing for a long time, and it's something we're incredibly passionate about. We've worked with Michael and the team for years, so to be part of this next chapter with Stark Future's factory support is exciting for everyone involved.
Jack's got a lot of history with us, and seeing him back in the team as a former Arenacross champion is something we're really proud of. Bringing Louis through into the Pro class alongside him is another great part of the story.
We've always believed in backing riders and giving them opportunities to progress, and that's exactly what this team represents. We're looking forward to getting back into Arenacross and seeing what we can achieve."
Jack Brunell said:
"Arenacross has been a massive part of my career, and winning the championship on the Stark in 2024 was something I'll never forget. We proved a lot that year, and I'm looking forward to getting back out there and fighting for another title.
It's great to be back with Michael and the Marsh guys too. I've known them for years, and there's a lot of history there, so it feels good to be racing together again.
Having Louis alongside me is going to be good as well. He's coming off a championship win, he's hungry to prove himself, and I think we'll push each other. I'm really looking forward to February."
Matt Bates, Arenacross Promoter, said:
"Jack Brunell will always have a special place in Arenacross history. What he achieved in 2024, winning the British Championship on an electric bike, was a huge moment for the sport, and I'm really pleased to see him back with an officially backed Stark Future team.
But I'm equally excited about Louis Brookes. He was our Pro-Am British Champion in 2026, and now he's earned the opportunity to step up and race against the best in the Pro class. That's exactly the kind of progression we want to see through Arenacross. Giving riders a platform to develop, prove themselves and move forward in their careers is something I'm incredibly proud of.
It's also brilliant to have Marsh involved. They've been part of British motocross for years, and having that experience alongside Michael and the backing of Stark Future makes this a really exciting team. With the calibre of riders we're announcing for 2027, I think we're in for some seriously good racing."
The 2027 Arenacross British Championship will feature six rounds across three UK cities, with a £150,000 championship prize fund.
