2019 EICMA INTERNATIONAL MOTOCROSS ITALY SERIES - #FINAL ROUND Mantova 10 febbraio- Final Fight

The last round of the Internazionali d'Italia MX EICMA Series 2019 is  up to come. This week the Tazio Nuvolari circuit in Mantova will host the third race of the most popular pre MXGP series of our continent. Once again more than two hundred riders will be called to compete in the three classes in the race, making memorable duels, under the watchful eye of thousands of spectators on the natural stands of the track that will host the MXGP of Lombardia in May and those who also this weekend will be connected to the web site www.offroadproracing.it to look for free, from anywhere in the world, the show of the Internazionali EICMA Series.

 

In the Supercampione class Tony Cairoli (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing), after having won the first two rounds, with 240 points is one step away from the third consecutive title, but the battle with the fierce adversaries will be tough. To give him a hard time there will be Tim Gajser (Honda HRC), second in the standings with 200 points and Jorge Prado, twice on the third step of the podium and best of the MX2 riders with 160 points. In search of ransom Romain Febvre (Monster Energy Yamaha Factory) with 125 points, still in search of the first podium in the class that awards a prize of 120,000€, as well as Gautier Paulin (Monster Energy Wilvo MXGP), fifth with 99 points.

Also in MX1 Cairoli have full points (240), followed by Romain Febvre (200) and Tim Gajser (160). At Ottobiano the three have replicated the result of Riola, while Gautier Paulin with 130 points, aims for a place on the final podium of the class, threatened by a surprising and unstoppable Tannel Leok (A1M Husqvarna) that follows only 15 points behind the French man.

In MX2 the Frenchman Tom Vialle, factory rider of the Red Bull Factory Racing KTM Team and Jeffrey Herlings' team mate, will make in Mantova his seasonal debut on the Austrian factory machine and it will be interesting to see him compete for the first time with his fellow Jorge Prado, leader of the category and current World Champion, firmly at the top with 240 points, followed by the young Danish Mikkel Haarup (Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing) with 150, while on equal points (125) Michele Cervellin (Yamaha SM Action) and Ben Watson (Kemea Yamaha), will compete for a place on the podium.

In 125 the championship is still really open with a handful of riders ready to give their best to win the 2019 champion title. The leader Florient Miot (Yamaha MJC) leads the standings with 730 points, 30 points from Andrea Bonacorsi (Celestini KTM Junior Team) and by the Ottobiano winner, Simon Langenfelder (WZ Racing KTM), third with 500 points, 30 more than Mirko Valsecchi (Celestini KTM Junior Team) and 39 more than Alessandro Facca (Marchetti Racing Team).
